Kaeli Carr has been with MET2 for over fifteen years. She began as a student, became a participant in the Associate/Student Teaching Volunteer Program for many years, before eventually being hired as the Assistant Director/Assistant Choreographer to Alison Bretches.
Kaeli has extensively trained in dance for over twenty-two years. Throughout that time she has studied ballet (including pointe and partnering), tap, jazz, modern, and hip-hop, being mentored by Joe Malone. Kaeli has trained at many exclusive summer programs such as American Ballet Theatre, North Carolina Dance Theatre, Ballet Austin, and Complexions Contemporary Dance with Desmond Richardson and Dwight Rhoden.
Favorite dance and acting roles include “Peter Pan” in Peter Pan, “Lily St. Regis” in Annie, “Kristine” in A Chorus Line, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards with the Pussycat Dolls, CBS’ Movie of the Week The Dick Van Dyke Show Revisited (with Mary Tyler Moore), TV Moves II Live for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana and Shake It Up, TNT’s Major Crimes, and ABC Family’s Bunheads, choreographed by internationally known choreographer, Marguerite Derricks, where she also worked with Tony Award winner Sutton Foster. Most recently, Kaeli performed on board Holland America Line’s ship, MS Zaandam, for nine months with Stiletto Entertainment touring South America, Alaska/Canada, Hawaii, the Panama Canal, and Mexico.
Kaeli loves teaching dance and theatre to MET2 students throughout Southern California, as well as dance at The Performing Arts Center, which is the studio where she grew up.
